Interpreting Miami’s natural surroundings through a Scandinavian lens , the light-filled space unfolds as an open, elongated interior with daylight drawing out organic textures against a restrained architectural frame.
In the front room, low Liljevalchs sofas by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn are custom upholstered in Celotocaulis, a 1930s print of oversized flowers and winding stems. Archival botanical engravings line the walls in frames hand-woven with banana leaves. Together, they nod to Carl von Linné, the father of taxonomy, connecting a Swedish appreciation for the natural world with the atmosphere of Miami.
