Set inside a historic townhouse, 27 Faubourg Saint-Honoré offers a tranquil environment for discovery. On the ground floor, iconic photographs by renowned Swedish photographer Mikael Jansson,  a longtime TOTEME collaborator, appear throughout as a permanent exhibition of his work connected to Sweden. Among the images selected from the artist’s archive is 'Renee #1', Ornö 1995, photographed in the Stockholm archipelago. Jonas Bohlin’s 'Iron Concrete' chair, a defining expression of Swedish design, anchors the flow between floors.

A geometric staircase leads upstairs where a striking window in stained glass and lead by Lucie Gottlieb, a French artist living in Stockholm, is paired with a Hans J. Wegner ‘China chair’ for Andreas Tuck circa 1950s.

“We wanted to go against the traditional idea of a flagship, so we created something tranquil and personal, shaped by pieces that hold meaning for us and by a Swedish sensibility.”

— Karl Lindman

Carved from a slab of Carrara marble, ‘Low Voronoi’ by Marc Newson for Gagosian grounds the upper floor. A Swedish Baroque table refinished in soft white is set with a glass bowl by Ingegerd Råman for Orrefors. Liljevalchs sofas by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn and minimal Italian limestone shelves enhance the relaxed atmosphere.
