TOTEME is seeking an experienced retail leader to manage our new multi-level TOTEME store on Madison Avenue. This role is positioned for a current Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager within a premium or luxury brand who is ready to lead a flagship environment where hospitality, clienteling and operational excellence are central to the experience.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance while elevating the in-store experience to reflect TOTEME’s brand standards. The store is a multi-level brand environment requiring strong leadership presence, structured operations, and a highly curated client journey.

You will lead and develop a team including Sales Advisors, Senior Sales Advisors, a Private Client Advisor, Stock Supervisor, Department Manager, and Assistant Store Manager. Your focus will be to build a culture of accountability, exceptional service, and long-term client relationships.





RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver excellent customer service with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.

  • Assume responsibility for sales targets and performance.

  • Recruit, support and train the team to meet sales targets and service levels.

  • Plan, delegate, action and follow up on the store’s daily operational tasks.

  • Create and maintain staff schedules.

  • Plan budgets and expenses with a sustainable and cost-conscious mindset.

  • Manage stock levels, logistics and sell-through.

  • Implement company procedures and reporting activities.

  • Develop and implement new store policies and strategies.

  • Work towards long-term Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business goals.

  • Give feedback to the Buying team.

  • Lead the store’s Visual Merchandising and upkeep.

  • Develop efficient workflows.

  • Manage in-store events.

  • Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.



YOUR PROFILE

  • A strong team leader with at least five years of experience in store management within luxury retail.

  • Experience with leading a team.

  • Experience working in an omnichannel environment.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

  • Experience with back-office operations management.

  • Experience generating reports and guidelines.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's new New York store starting as soon as possible.

The annual salary for this role ranges between 100.000 and 130.000 USD before tax and will be set according to the applicant’s profile, skills and previous experience.
